That image you formed from your imagination. From the shape of the eyes to the thickness of the thighs; the person you envisioned me to be.
Simply vanished.
Words spoken so softly in your ear, you could swear I was sitting right next to you. My fragrance lingers in the air. You could swear I just walked past you. The smile on my face. You could swear I was standing right in front of you.
I'm just a vision simply vanished.
From the taste of my lips, to the sway of my hips and the softness of my skin.
I'm just a vision simply vanished. Reaching out for me on those cold night. Staring at a picture of what use to be us, watching my image just disappear into thin air. Like I was never there, but you promise on everything; you swear you just saw me.
I'm just a vision simply vanished.
My laughter torments your ears. My features cast a permanent shadow on you brain. Causing you cold sweats and you to call out my name, but there is no answer. Just silence. My silhouette appears you come dashing near, just have the vision once again disappear. Going crazy maybe? Are you driving yourself insane. Trying to remember the last time you felt me touch on your frame. Sitting quietly. No lighting in the room. Thoughts going a mile a minute of what happened to me and you. Trying harder than ever for your imagination to yet again create something you thought was just perfect, but nothing seems to be the same. My portrait again seems to want to play games. Trick and treat on your membrane. And again you try and hold on, but in the blink of an instant I'm gone. I'm just an vision simply vanished.
As you try to breathe easy. Not worry about the images floating around of me. Damming me, because you claim my illusion is sweetly haunting you. Tears you shed. Beaded brow you wipe. All because you wish you could take back those words you said that night. Now all you see is my vision simple vanished.
